so no pics today. been a rough week. I was off Monday and so was Ryan nice to spend the day with Carlee and Ryan we had lunch at College Hill and then Carlee had a game so not bad. What WAS bad was I woke up Tuesday at 5 am throwing up and doing the other too. BAD STUFF!
Missed worked pretty much unconcious the rest of the day in bed. I went to work Wednesday and Thursday but had very long days you can only imagine.
Little cropping on Friday night and garage sale and swimming Saturday as well as taking the Hatfields dinner and then the Winfield Garage Car and Bike Show and then lunch with my family and then to the pool.
NOW I am smelling sugar topped Mocha Cupcakes a recipe from my new Taste of Home Family Favorites. They have COFFEE in them YUMMEE HELLO!!
More next week the day of sickness and recovery has passed.

Here is our Fathers Day potrait. Well Kinda not the best but glad I have it.

So another week has come and gone as the week began we added a new addition to the family. Drumroll please.....introducing Pete aka Pistol Pete like the OSU mascott. Carlee's Peach(as Scrapfunattic Sarah and I call our ex's) allowed her and her brother to purchase one each and planned on them living happily ever after together. YA FAT CHANCE those 2 bicker can you imagine 2 male geckos. So he is living at our casa. This morning he suprised me in the sink in her bathroom where his cage is. We finally figured out how he escaped and I eliminated that issue. THAT WAS SCARY!!

Well I am off work tomorrow. Ryan and I celebrate our #7 anniversary so we plan to spend the day together washing the dog or something fun!

Got a little bit of scrapbooking done Friday amongst the incident with Shandra's daughter. Please keep praying for her she has a very long healing process ahead of her. Bless Her Heart

I know its a been a week and a busy one at that. These were taken last sunday at the pool in Ark City. Us girls thought it sounded really good it was getting hot and humid so we got there at 2 and left at 6 just as a storm was brewing. We barely got home and one broke out.

We had a game that got rained out this week I think Tuesday then some bike riding this week and a game Thursday which we lost and then I took Carlee to her dads. She spent the weekend at Turner Falls and The Arbuckle Wilderness. Evidently she now owns a lizard but I havent seen it yet she is to come home tomorrow. She wanted to spend the evening with her Great Grandpa who is hanging on but I am preparing for his passing.

I swam and hung out for a while at Susans with her and Marissa and Marissas new friend. Then I thought I could be young again and drink with Mandy. HAHA I didnt wake up until 2pm Saturday my whole day was SHOT!!BUT I did stay up and get page kits packed for next Friday and Ryan and I went to Newkirk for dinner which was nice he usually likes to stay home. We took a spin in the Vette and away we went and it was nice for us.

Well on to another week a short one at that. Ready to hang with my girlfriends.

Where to begin...Its been a whole week. Monday was emotionally rough in the afternoon. We found out Carlee's Papa Great Grandpa Baldridge(her dads grandpa, his moms dad) had a stroke Sunday and wasnt fairing well so the kids and grandkids that could be present was appreciated. So Tuesday morning at 6am she had me out of bed and out of the house by 7. We drove to Blackwell and visited I left about 10 Carlee stayed all day. We had a game that night and her dad brought her to AC for it. Papa took a turn for the better and hung tight all week this morning it was not so good so now we are praying.
2 softball games 1 win 1 loss so its a 50/50
Thursday Carlee went back to Blackwell I went to work Friday and then a quick Garage Sale with Susan where she took me I got 4 pairs of jeans 4 pairs of dress pants and 1 pair of capris all from the Gap with the original tag plus 5 shirts for $40.50 OMG!! I WAS PSYCHED!! Then home to rest and relax.
Saturday rocked Ryan, I, Carole and Kenny went to Ponca to the Car Show and Herb Festival, I got 2 new pairs of shoes! WHOO WHOO
Took lots of pics even of today at the AC Pool I hope to share those tomorrow. I have signed up for an online class here at www.bigpicturescrapbooking.com and it doesnt start until July 2nd but we have pre-class work.

So this is what my Fridays have become. The 45 minute drive to Ponca, praying that Carlee's dad shows up so I am not forced to be her catcher because she throws softballs really really hard I have bruises to prove it. The treat is Starbucks after it makes up for the heat and bug bites. Stupid mean bugs. Saturday we slept in and then had practice at 2 then to the pool we went. MUCH NEEDED I was hot and didnt help with practice that was awful. So I read and lounged at the pool. Then came home and worked on stuff for my bulletin board. This morning I worked on some page kits I am awaiting my invitation for a Friday Night Scrappy Lounge Date (hintn hint) so I plan to prepare. Then at 1 we celebrated my parents 25th wedding anniversary and I will share those pics tomorrow. I know you are thinking 25? that doesnt add up I thought you were older? Well thanks for thinking that but my parents divorced and then remarried later so theres that explanation. had they stayed married it would have been 38 years in september. Then to the pool cause its hot! Then an hour of pitching and hitting with Carlee. Good thing I am young. WINK WINK

So here we are at Blackwell lake. Yes such a thing does exist I had to see it for myself but there it is in pictures for you. The lake isnt too far from Bramen Oklahoma but is a fun little spot and you pretty much just share it with Mandys family.

The pics are backwards but you get the jest, Brett (Mandys Brother) had to carry the kids to a certain point then let them slide off the moss covered dam and it was awesome. I did it twice and have the bruises to prove it. nothing like a little liquid courage or the fact that my best friend does it all I gotta be brave. As you can see even though the current was rough I was able to hold down the lawn chair we had bets going I wasnt heavy enough and I would float away but no go I won I am a determined WOMAN!! As you can see I was quite impressed with how close I could close in on the pics with some editing thanks to pointers from Kate Crandell. I WILL be purchasing a new camera but am looking around $300 any advice appreciated curious as to what you got Leslie.
At some point I did have the thought of my mom telling me it wasnt a good idea to allow the only child I gave birth to allow to do this but there were other parents and grandparents there so it wasnt completely wreckless!!

And I did it even though after a 5 hour motorcyle ride with my dad I was wanting and inflatable donut for my butt and the bruises are hurting but all in all not bad. We are both burned and I am sure thats what allowed me to get a nap in with Ryan. Or maybe just the need to be close to him for a while just us...OH and the dog every now and then. TeeHee XOXOXO

So here is one of my first attempts after taking Kates Go Manual Class yesterday at Scrap Funattic. Granted I do not have a LSR camera and was wondering if I should own one. Right now I feel its best to get to know my camera for what it has to offer and get into its boxers and see what it can do for me.

I went completly manual and set my settings for outdoor pics so we shall see what happens I plan to do lots of practicing so be prepared to look and comment. Comments are important to me for those who understand this stuff. Laura? Kim? You out there? Advice?

I finished another book last night called "A Journal For Jordan" for those of you raising boys its a must for those of you needing a feel good story its a good one. Take time to read it this summer it makes you see things and life in a better light.

almost a week has passed. BUSY BUSY weekend I was exhausted by sunday morning and we had church, lunch here at 1 and dinner at my in laws sooo tired!

Hubby had a great fishing trip here is his prize winner his personal best

he was pretty stoked to get this his first night! The fishing wasnt too great beyond that but he laughed (which he needed) and had a great time. I didnt do too bad holding down the fort I just exhausted myself.

I already had my dental days, Monday and Tuesday and that monday morning 6am alarm sucked butt OH MY! But the dental days are done until next week. They will be increasing our population soon so its only busier from here!

We have a busy weekend with pitching lessons with Carlee, Photo class for me in Andover, birthday party for Miss Josie and Graduation party sunday. C U SOON!

its 12:03 on a thursday night and I should b sleeping. had house cleaning to do before Ginas shin dig here tomorrow night and I cant always be sure I will be off work early so I had to make sure. most people would say my house was already clean but everyone has standards you know.
she has been wanting to have a party and lives pretty far out so what the heck, hubbys gone its all yours. be fun and she is staying with me which is cool. big girl slumber party.

Ryan went to McGee lake in Oklahoma today and has already caught a 5 pound bass so he is already stoked and happy.

well dogs been pee I must sleep now 6 am will come early and a late night tomorrow night will present itself. then planting saturday, some scrapbooking and card making then sunday church, lunch at my house at 1 and dinner with my mother in law. whew

So what to say.. still no worm from our dog Blue. I hope his tummy acids did eat it up and we wont have to see it reincarnated.
Went to Scrap Funattic today and did a make and take and picked a few things up as well because it was National Scrapbook Day so why the heck not?
I am prepared to get some pages done when the time comes maybe next weekend. Ryan is going fishing for 4 days so I was thinking about just laying it all out and getting it done. what else do I have to do?
Clean house? Ya that will be done thursday so we shall see.

So i accidently let our dog eat a plastic fishing lure minus the hook. A call to a previous vet tech and a vet and I think we are ok. Me I am worried sick. What kind of a Dog Mother lets her dog swallow a plastic worm whole?

I do honestly have pictures but will have to upload tomorrow. Its 9:42pm and I am done worn out not a single ounce of energy left.
I was off work yesterday after about an 11 hour day. Came home took a shower and went to AC to pick up Lena. Us girls went to eat then to get Bolt the movie to watch then home. They crashed after that and I did too.

Got woke up at 7:30 am by my sister and rolled out of bed at 8:30(getting a little extra time in with the hubby) and got the girls around and myself and we got out of Winfield by 11. My goal was 10 with 2 kids I should be more realistic here.

We spent the whole day in Cedar Vale, KS at the SPring Fling with Poppa Jim. Food and Food and more food and the blow ups the kids jump on and did I mention Food and then the BBQ contest and then some more food cause we hadnt had enuf already. SERIOUSLY? I KNOW I KNOW(chime in Marissa here)

So now the 2 inches of dirt is off of me down the drain and no sweaty dirty smell and to bed I go. I ASSUME ha ha the storm will let me sleep but the line of it looks pretty darn hairy now. CRIPES!

New haircut and new color. Well worth the 2 hours of sitting chatting with Shondelle I didnt let my ADD kick in too bad. I still get antsy.

Carlee went to a softball clinic and came home injured my mom "Mimi" the Wonder Woman of the family. I just got nautious ya when you give birth to it its just dfficult.

Tomorrow is EARTH day what will you do to become a more greener person and household?

LONG day at work I must have done the 4 flights of stairs 10 times today and I am exhausted and my legs ache.

So the post last night didnt end my night. at 10:30 Carlee just could not breath her coughing was going out of control and gasping. So I called Jane our ANRP and my mom, Jane was already nighty night. Mom drove up from AC and we took her out to the facility to check her oxygen levels and they were a 97 which is EXCELLANT for a tween with allergies and asthma. So we skipped the emergency room which would have been a drive to Ponca City for her Indian Insurance to cover. So once we got back home we gave her a breathing treatment and mom and I tucked her in and I think by midnight we were both in bed.
I was up at 6 so was mom and Carlee so I had Carlee get into my bed called my mom with the morning report of Carlee she gave me the work report and I got ready, found Carlee and Blue our dog in my bed made them both get up and eat breakfast and off we went. I checked on Carlee at lunch today and redosed her then got home at 6 cooked dinner for her Tomato soup and grilled cheese and fed Ryan a salad and his fav chicken from the Dillons deli. Then Blue and I got a walk in. I DID get my Oprah watched from Tuesday SUPA IMPORTANT because Kenny Chesney was on there HEL-LO HOT-EY MA-TOT-EY
ANYWAYS.. so a post then off to bed to work another day with the dentist, with the inmates and mental health. Please pray for me

where to begin. not sure, one .of those days, I have had the same headach for 2 days and I get it when I get really irritated so I guess as you get more irritated it just makes it worse which just keeps irritating me more.
Maybe I have reached that point in my life where I need to be medicated also. most of my friends are and I just get so mad at things and people and my happy face gets hard to show. I have been very unsettled for several days now. I honestly thought it was the hormones ***note to self do not forget to take your birth control 4 days in a row***
So here I set at 9 pm guessing bed is my best option since its a dental day tomorrow and the dentist in charge of all the dental departments will be here. he still makes me a little nervous that I am not doing it all right.
Carlee is worse than yesterday and just fighting to breath and not cough and sneeze poor thing.

So I am home. I played the stay at home mom role today and let me tell you I dont have it in me I am exhausted. Woke up at 6 with Carlee wheezing ya fat chance of school and prolly a prayer to the Indian Chief that I could get her into the clinic today, so at 8 the calls started. Yes 11:30 is fine, when you visit the Kanza Health Clinic in Newkirk generally the younger generation takes priority if you start calling at 8. So then the next call was to the school, then her dad. I had already called my sister in law because she gives Carlee rides every day. I had already called work, I then turn around and the dog is STILL itching. Screw it called the vet they said bring him immediatly he can get a allergy shot, bath and "paw"dicure so I haul him there and drop him off. I dont get left before they remind me to wash all his blankies and bedding in hot water. GREAT I have already done 3 loads of laundry here. So I got home started a load got into the shower, switched out a load, dried my hair and got dressed and its 10:15. Well in order to get to the clinic at a decent time we have to leave town by 10:45 to allow casino traffic time(serious)
Her lungs were tight so we got a prednisone pack and OH she was due for shots for school and the Indian required shots, they were different and generally the Indians require more to protect future generations I guess. SO 3 needles later into the car we go. We get to Winfield, pick up Blue I make his beds, put her in my bed and go to Dillons, all before 2. Wow, what I have TONS of respect for you mama's God Bless you and your patience.

So for the last 3 days I have worked 30 hours and bounced from Mental Health and Dental and its stressful. I get frustrated when I dont understand so I get these what I call irritated headaches and they have peoples names on them.

So tonight we had to take a snap shot of the family for my moms conference in Nashville mind you we had to do this at work today too ugh. This is me getting ready in 30 minues I DO work well under pressure HOWEVER I do not look good in 30 CRIPES until tomorrow

OK SERIOUS? Beotch PUHLEASE! It is thundering, lightening and raining here. You wanna know why I get confused because last monday tornado, Friday and Saturday ice and Snow and today STORMS? GOODNESS GRACIOUS!

Hubby is recovering slowly from the 24 hour flu it was HORRIBLE! I just pray my immune system loves me enough and I have been a good enough girl to by body that I dont get it. Say a little prayer for me.

You ask how i have time to blog? I AM READY for CROP CAMP!! I could leave in the morning and be A OK. 8 pairs of panties and enuf outfits and 22 page kits. Maybe more I called my wish list into Debbie yesterday so we shall see I AM JUST EXCITED!!

I keep reminding myself as the rain and sleet started and then ALL THE RAIN that thank goodness Crop Camp is 6 days away. I would have worried myself sick about all of our ladies traveling to CC in this mess. Its a blessing, I bet alot of them got page kits packed {wink wink} and are all packed and ready to go like me :)

Shandra and Susan were without power the last I checked. Kathy and I have enjoyed CITY LIVING WITH ELECTRICITY today. I ventured over to her house to do a little hair highlighting. SHH I will not show the results until Crop Camp. Its a SUHPRISE!!

Baked cookies today for hubby to get him by for a few days. Now throwing some page kits, cause I dont think 20 is enough. Panic packing I guess.

So here I set. School let out at 1 Carlee's dad came and picked her up because we all know I dont do cold. ESPECIALLY wet and cold. Plus I am an admitted weather wienie. K THERE I SAID IT!

I have made dinner, brats and bell peppers and onions swimming in beer and put it in the oven at 350 for an hour. YUMMY YUMMY! I made the Donna Pretzels as my daughter calls them because Donna Wunderlich shared the recipe with me that she got from a friend.

I have 19 page kits packed. May do more tomorrow we shall see depends on whether we have electricity or not. Kathy has no internet so we are texting or she is replying to emails from me.

She is going to highlight my hair tomorrow, may have to find a different mode of transportation considering the ice, sleet, ice and rain havent stopped. We have tree branches hanging to the ground that you couldnt even reach before just standing in the yard. Scarey thought. At least none are close to our cars or the house.

Sleep tight and luck to all of those dealing with the winter storm. The positive side is that its keeping all of us home and inside to prepare for Crop Camp!

yes Im here. In the midst of work. Crop Camp in general with the added of classes I am teaching. Keeping up with the vendors for donations. OH and I took a digital class with Creative Memories, I KNOW! I KNOW! but their new stuff rocks and their Memory Manager Software. Serious STUFFS ladies it rocks it is so easy compared to other programs.
Off to take Grandma B dinner and pick up Carlee from Awanas and hopefully stay up until 9:30 to call my Crop Campanion Susan. Miss yA

I have 39 out of 52 cards done, but ran out of cardstock and still need envelopes. So I ventured a shower about noon and am at this time supposed to be typing my class for Crop Camp.

I didnt fall off the wagon I evidently jumped. Long week, getting Spring Break plans finalized. Crop Camp shirts to Kathy and Shandra and on the website. Getting re-ready to start working in Mental Health at the end of this month. I started on my 52 cards for the Crop Camp Card Swap. I am almost officially 1/2 way done.
I tried a few new recipes yesterday I tried 4 and was happy with 2 so whatta do. Trial and error I guess. I want to seriously start packing for Crop Camp, seems too early. I mean seriously is it just to avoid the housework needing done or am I just looking forward to 3 whole days and nights of just worrying about myself and singing Ice Ice Baby and Goodbye Earl. Maybe its just a time to just worry about me about when I get up, when I eat, how late I stay up and how much I get done. Maybe its a selfish thought but I think we as women need and deserve days where the only person we are responsible for is ourselves.
This week will be an odd one. Carlee left Friday night and wont stay the night in our house again until Wednesday, then she is home until Friday night and gone again. She is attending activities in Ark City at the High School pool and its an all day event for 3 days. She will then leave Friday night and go to Springfield with my parents and Lena to go to the caves and do some exploring.
I am planning to get to work at 7 this week to make my evening longer so I can see the light and sunshine longer I need that.
I cleaned out my flowerbeds, I still have A LOT of work to do and need to decide what gets planted this year. I loved having fresh herbs but I need to plant what I use instead what just smells pretty.

Well Well more weird weather. I was sitting at Carlee's indoor soccer game and heard the nails on the roof with the wind. Weird weather enough to make you a little nervous. Or me I guess.

Busy day at work, Ryan and I did our taxes and got it accomplished and done. A little in our favor but not much.

Started working on my 1st set of Crop Camp Card Swap cards, lots of poking holes and stitching. EEK!

The PJ Birthday Crop rocked! Got stuff done, hung out with the girls, ate alot! It was so much fun having Debbie(Attic Mom) drop in and Steff and Dana and Danelle. Of course us birthday girls Susan, Diann and Myself. Vicki, Rita, Donna and Christal. And Donna that little cutting machine is on my wish list cuz its just compact and cool and I love that.

Susan, Mandy and I left the store at 3 i think this time change so screwed me up. I got some fabulous gifts, Shandra got me a apron that says "I'll take a caffe mocha vodka latte to go please" so fitting for me.

Susan got me sweet alphas she knows me too well, Kathy got me a gift certificate and believe it orr not I didnt use it all!

I am planning on resting today, I freaked hubby out cause he woke up at 11 and I was still in bed he was worried the sickness was taking me back over, but I didnt get much sleep over the week so I needed to catch up.

Well I am off to have a lazy birthday day hope you enjoy the beautiful Kansas weather, it was a little freaky hearing the faint sound of sirens last night but not anywhere near us.

Ok I am off my pity party, I mean my birthday is in 5days, the pajama crop celebrating my bday and Susan and Diann's bday is in 4 at Scrap Funattic.

Monday I took Kathy to her first check up appoinment and it was great. She is recovering well, while I was waiting I opened my book to read and realized I couldnt reach the arm rests. As I looked around I was like Alice in Wonderland all the chairs werent the size you normally see which is great you know the world isnt full of smaller people obviously and I think its great they respect that but I felt kinda out of place and found it just funny Kathy and I joked about her bringing her Skinny Bitch friend to the clinic.

Tomorrow is a dental day, plus a Crop Camp meeting I hope to show you the shirts by Thursday and Thursday we have the 6th grade Science Fair and an 8:15 indoor soccer game. Crazy days ahead.

I am tired and worn out from the allergy crap I am fighting and I am tired of it.

Well somewhat of a busy day I went to my grandmas and met my sister there and we went thru jewelry and dishes and silverware. I hope to have a nice place to display the dishes someday and I plan to photograph them to remember the story of them and the jewelry and the silverware. She bought the sterling silver silverware right after her and grandpa married she was working for a dentist and every pay day she went and paid a little on them until they were paid off. I love that they came with a story.

Busy week, gotta get tshirts finalized so I hope to get that accomplished and my class ready all for Spring Crop Camp.

HE WON AND IT WAS AWESOME!

Cannot even tell you the amount of time in the first round for when the referee called it but it was an AMAHZING FIGHT!
Tyler is no doubt an up and coming fighter and is on to bigger and better things trust me get to know him and his name because he will be bigger then we can ever imagine. He knows what he wants and he is working his way to it and not letting anyone in his way!

Carlee went to a christian rock concert and saw this guy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toby_Mac she had a BLAST got home around 11 and grammi picked her up and I assume they both have crashed by this point.

We arent too far behind ourselves the adrenaline has dropped and we are both exhausted.

So here we are, its Friday at 10:30 and I gotta stay awake until 11 to pick Carlee and Rene' up from the skating rink. Then in the morning I promised to hilite Carlee's hair and to touch mine up if there is any left. We have to do hers 1st because my hair is so thick it would take it ALL UP!!

Tomorrow night we plan to attend the fights at the First Council Casino and watch our friend http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Tyler-Stinson-17728 Tyler fight, pretty big one coming up so we will be going to support him and his family and have some fun while we are at it.

So I put in 12 hours yesterday and so by 9pm I was sleepy sleepy so thats where the dog and I went TO BED.

Did about 12 hours today and have 75 charts to audit tomorrow. Then Carlee and I are heading to Newkirk to get her meds, then to pick up BBQ for dinner.

She plans on skating and I will take Rusty and Rene' dinner because Kathy will be home tomorrow! YAAA she seems to be feeling better and healing better I was worried about her.

I am close to bed maybe a little bit of Ellen to make me smile but my eyes are soo heavy!

We are hoping to go watch Tyler Stinson fight Saturday at the Casino in Oklahoma but it depends on a few variables so we shall see.

Lots on my mind, Kat J (Kathy) was supposed to be released after her surgery but it wasnt until today this afternoon that she was released. The trip she had planned for herself, Rusty Rene and Carlee was canceled she is recovering slowly so please say prayers or text her an "I am thinking of you at 620-222-2921.

CCS which whom I work for that are contracted out by the state of Kansas laid off 4 people today. Pretty sad our DON Calvin is being let go, along with the person I just trained for Mental Health so I will be going back up to the 4th floor better get some runner legs cause those stairs KEEL me!

Started Manic but then Tweaker came so I am tossing around which to continue with.

OK OK granted I got 0 page kits packed but my partner in page kit packing was in Denver all weekend so if she wasnt able to why would I try showing her up and doing some myself? Huh why? thats just not nice.

So i skipped last night just too tired. didnt sleep well on friday night so yesterday was a long drawn out day for me.

went to see mandy yesterday afternoon and we did wedding stuff, caught up on things went to ponca to eat at applebee's and got some much needed girl time.

i think sometimes to clear your soul thats what you need you cant do everything with your spouse you need that release and i pretty much spent the whole weekend doing that.

my goals today werer to pack page kits but not sure how far i will get. allergies have taken me down a notch so i wanna sit curled up on this couch and read my book and just be lazy for today. I have next weekend to prepare for the 12 hour crop and so I will do it then.

went for a little GNO with the girls. Saw "Confessions of a ShopAHolic" very funny and cute. Paige hosted and was wonderful, gorgeous home and alot of fun. We laughed and told stories and just laxed and I love that.

Starting reading "Her Last Death" today very intriguing and interesting. Been totally into biographies lately I guess a better understanding of all the chaos of the world outside my four walls and makes you appreciate your family and your life around you.

Crashing now, got Crop Camp stuff to work on tomorrow, page kits to pack, books to read. Yes books I have another yet to go besides the one mentioned above.

so i am blogging then bedding down for the evening. we saw 17 patients today along with the ups and downs of whether the correctional facility will exist and if I will still have a job. My mom is heading for topeka tomorrow but we do not know why or what for and I dont wanna bug her. she is carrying the world of almost 40 employees on her shoulders and i just pray for her best I can do right now.

I cannot get into my new book i tried, did some research last night and found 3 others called our library and they do not have those either, I guess maybe I should suck it up and purchase 1 of the 3 and see how hubby reacts about the credit card charge.

Highly considering purchasing an ipod or something for my birthday if you have opinions lemme have em I am all ears :)

Well my goal was to start the day reading this but our Kansas Library system doesnt even have it yet its still on order so I will be 1st on the list. Its the sons side of the story to the book i just read called "Beautiful Boy" written by the father. HONESTLY I never would have these types of books on my list but working in Mental Health and not studying these Mental Illnesses in college I am trying my best to learn and understand.

Right now I have picked up this book called "There is no me without you" Its one womans odyssey to rescue her countrys children.

I will let you know how it all goes just getting ready to crack it open and begin. I have a few quotes to look up and then gotta crash early. Tomorrow is a dental day and its already a hectic one and thats if they behave and noone harms themselves in the next 12 hours.

Early post I know but the day will be ending early for me.
Carlee had a indoor soccer game we lost 6-9 but for the 1st game of the season it was a very intense and fun game it seriously rocked.
I did some training at work today, got the dental office appointments ready to enter tomorrow and watched as we shipped 6 more inmates out. We used to love it but now its scary because none are coming in. I hope this is just until June I gotta pray cause I need a job.
The Good Lord will bring to me what I was destined to have, I had a nice friend offer if I wanted to travel for her for her company because she has 2 little ones. HECK I would do that now on my weekends with Carlee gone. I was shocked and flattered, so hey Chick call me lets chat again.

So I made these cookies today for Ryan. Seems cheaper then buying $4.25 a package Nutter Butters.

The 3 Gerber Daisies in the awesome vase and wrought iron holder came from hubby yesterday morning. SOO Cheery on these cold outside days. Gerbers are my favorite daisies of all you cannot help but smile when you see them.

The next flower is the one that mom brought all of us ladies to work on Friday morning I got the only Dr.Pepper bottle all the others were Coke and I love it! She repurposes lots of things.

The last is Ryans shirt. Its a pinup on a panhead Harley Davidson it is SOO awesome! I love pinups from the old days I think they are so cool and sexy.

Today was just busy its a no wonder I am exhausted after a weekend. laundry shopping and keeping up on the house.

Crop A Ganza Layouts

So I am reading and dang suprised I am still upright. Exhausted from the week and the ups and downs of wondering where this job will go with all the threatening of closings going on around me.

The book is amazing and scary knowing his son first tried drugs a 12. My child is 12 and I dont want her to leave to go to her dads anymore or anywhere in general.

So I didnt post yesterday but with good reason. I started reading this book called Beauiful Boy by David Sheff. Been wanting to read it for a awhile and the library had it. So the story has begun and I have gotten pretty far, too interesting to put down.

I promise to get some scanning of layouts done eventually hopefully tomorrow but we shall see. Carlee will go to her dads tomorrow evening so i may have a bit of down time soon.

Crop Camp is coming along hoping to get a few things finalized I am seriously considering teaching a Page Kit Planner Class for very inexpensive just to help out those ladies that spend hours hoping a page idea will show up at their table or into their bags while they are packed away.

hello, yes I still have layouts to scan and am hoping to feel competent enough to do that this week.

My dental days are already over this week thank goodness I put in alot ALOT of hours these last 2 days considering my 10 hours of sleep this weekend but it was so worth it.

Carlee has Kids Klub and Awana tomorrow, Parent Teacher conferences Thursday plus Indoor soccer pics and goes to her dads friday. The weekend will come quick I just hope it goes slow so I can recooperate and stay and chill.

Im done, I am officially (once I get the paperwork) a Certified Dental Assistant. I will be a registered Dental Assistant once I test in July. That is when I will have the year required as well as the course I complete. I averaged a 93 in the class so I cannot complain and am glad I am finished. It will take the guilt away of scrapbooking all weekend long and not feeling like I should be studying. 15 out of 16 exams done within my Dental Assisting Certification. I rec'd a 97 on the exam I took today which was over computer appts, charting, insurance claims and time clock documents.

When I started at the end of October my goal was to be done by Crop A Ganza but there were days I wasnt sure. They give you a year to get thru this stuff but things went fast due to where I work and if I got stuck i would wait until the dentist got to the facility on Wednesdays and he would work with me and be patient until I got it. I am so hands on its ridiculous some days.

So now 1 exam and pretty much 3 days to CAG which by the way have you seen the blog http://www.scrapfunattic.blogspot.com/ yep NEW SHIRTS from Two Chicks and someone with HANDBAGS? HELLO my dreams are coming true!!

So I skipped yesterday but with good reason, I took another exam and go a 93. Two more to go and I am done. Online classes next maybe depends on the job situation. Plus this chickee came over at 6 we spent almost 2 hours looking at wedding cakes and invites (any suggestions on either let me know, its an outdoor wedding) then we did our normal tradition of making onion rings and drinking bud light. I completly assisted in the assasination of her diet she has done so well with.

Then I watched the UFC fights and my fav fight and he won. wasnt an amazing as a fight as it should have been but BJ Penn couldnt take ANYMORE of GSP's punishment.

Carlee and I got up and went to church this morning at Crossroads its located at the old school on the old highway and it was an amazing service, great pastor, new age up to date music and message prerty darn cool place.

We got social studies studied, division problems done, spelling words reviewed. I got my tool bag reorganized and packed got my Clip It Up organized better and loaded. Threw in 1 page kit minus the page ideas cause I figured if I need it I will get inspired right? Prolly will find an idea cause the thought of the whole thing not being organized will eat at me so ask me on friday k?

Got the clothes laid out for next weekend as well. now just watching the superbowl waiting for the good commercials and posting my weekend all for you. I managed to make chicken salad, cookies and a cucumber salad this weekend as well. No wonder I am tired when I go back to work on monday. Just looking forward to just scrapbooking next weekend, no laundry,no cleaning, no studying. Straight cropping thats it. SOO READY!!

a new day but not much more info. I am sitting here thankful for my husbands positivness because I have none at all. I know it will be all ok it always is right? and you are never given more than what you can handle so I know i can. I have no regrets leaving Husky Liners over 6 months ago I have learned so much as far as dental assisting and medical and mental health so I will have a nice array of qualities to offer while I pawn myself looking for a job. lots of people and families are facing this so I gotta be positive and press on.

Firewall issues in Topeka but anyways. Lot of worrying for today and wondering how if this happens how we are going to survive, and my mom and aunt and the 200 employees out there. Just never thought I would be here in this position but I should never assume that I wasnt at risk as well.

Another exam done with a 90 again. Not happy if I wouldnt have over analyzed the questions I would have been fine. But I second guessed them and thats the rersult I should have went with my first instinct and didnt.

12 years ago today I was at the hospital dealing with labor, dealing with wanting to have this child and being told it was too early. Wanting a hot bath, wanting to sleep, wanting my mom and just overall being very needy. I guess it was my last opportunity to have the world revolve around me because it was going to dramatically change.

All 6 pounds 11 ounces and 21 inches of a early baby girl who was just as chubby as all get out and the weather was just the same. Starting to get icy out, cold and it worried me. All my family was in Kansas and I was in Ponca. Mandy was there with me which helped, she tried leaving and did the next morning but barely got to work and they broke my water so I called her to come back. We caught Carlee's dad pulling out of the driveway as well but it wasnt until 4:40 pm on the 27th that she came. This pic is from about 5 years ago, I hope to load some baby baby pics of her tomorrow. hope you all have a good evening.

Just completed Dental Specialties 1,2 and 3 and did the exam with a 90. The questions that confused me and I starred got me.

Moving on, my next shipment of books havent arrived yet so that may give me a day of break I hope.

Waiting on the WINTRY MIX due to get here, but for now I am off to bed. Tuesday is Carlees Birthday she will be 12 and I hate the word "Tween" but we are so there and I wish for the terrible twos again. Seriously all it required was bells on the shoes and there wasnt such things as, cell phones, my space and attitudes. She was just cute and chubby and only got upset when we didnt have a certain blankie. Now I am the mean mom, who just wants to steer her child into the right direction, a different direction than myself. The world is a scary place and she doesnt get why I need to protect her, but I have to, I know too well the things that can happen.

WHEW. Tired lady here. Left work at 4 went to Ryans office, then to the grocery store then home. Got home at 5 my sister got here at like 5:15 and it was a run after that. Just now sitting down to wind down and rest my back

I was reassured when she told me she hasnt done hers yet either and had no intentions this evening. OOH SO SPENT. Spent the first 6 hours of the day with the dentist and the next 5 in mental health. I feel like I should be in there not working in there. Just cannot take any more info in this evening. Came home to a very helpful hubby and daughter. They were lessening the stress for tomorrow.

PAMPERED CHEF tomorrow night thats Friday at my house, excited but I am normally off work early on Fridays and it just so happens I cannot be because there are psych. appointments starting at 3 tomorrow. STARTING!! FABULOUS so how am I gonna make that all happen going to the store, mopping and getting ready by 6. Sonic X 2? Possibly I hope.

so all is good. Dr. Cusik rocks LOVE HER if you ever have any breast issues she is the specialist to go to.
Kinda feel I got gipped on my mammo films. The films are HUGE & my breast takes up like 1/32 of 8 films it is HILARIOUS!! Hey Im a scrapbooker we can get ALOT OF THINGS onto one sheet of paper here come on people.
Anyways surgery is up to me, if it hurts enough she will remove it. I was ok with that until she said "You have already rec'd the million dollar treatment my guess is after the $2,000 to $3,000 MRI your deductible should be met and the surgery should be covered"

OK YA BUT WHAT DO I STILL OWE FOR THE MILLION DOLLAR TREATMENT. My fear is the bills that are still due to come thru its freaking me out. It does hurt but people live in pain everyday with way worse conditions so should I be so demanding? I just dont know.

Hello! I just finished suffering from hanging a curtain and grounding my daughter for 3 weeks and not in that order.

My suggestion if your child has a cell phone(we did not purchase this for her, her dad did and he was aware of this and supported a decision) PLEASE PLEASE read the text messages. It is not a privacy issue your kid still lives with you its protection matters. Needless to say, no phone, no email, no internet, no TV. She was only allowed 1 hour a night during school now its nothing and I just need time to take things in. At this age these kids do not know the meaning of "Love" and shouldnt use it freely its disheartening for me

Tomorrow I see the specialist for the removal of the tumor and I can't take time to prepare because I have to worry about my 11 year old who will be 12 next week.

Well I did it. Pharmacology and Anesthesiology, Dental Materials 1 & 2 300+ pages 60 questions and I got a 98 oohh thank goodness!! So now I am onto Dental Specialties. Oh My

Busy day around here, cookies made, furniture moved, pictures hung and lost of dust bunnies sucked up.

Going to work tomorrow to get prepared for missing monday but its was a holiday for us. I visit with the surgeon specialist on Wednesday and will let you know the results of that. Hoping to put off the surgery for a few months if she will allow it.

Study? Huh? Whats that? OOOH its the 131 pages over denture impressions I am avoiding right now.
Got the christmas lights down today, simmer down the outdoor ones, indoor have been gone since new years. Cleaned the bathroom, ironed about 6 scrub outfits, laundry, cooked a nice lunch, cleaned my scrapbook room and best of all today went and took Carlee to see HOTEL FOR DOGS. IT WAS AWESOME!! We both enjoyed it and cracked up and it was a good heartwarming story too.
Off for MLK Day tomorrow and niece and nephew gonna hang with Carlee I am going to study 2 hours, clean 2 hours and just rotate my whole day like that and see what I get accomplished. Wish me luck I HAVE to get an exam done tomorrow and am only 1/2 way thru the 131 pages.

I realized I skipped yesterday but I was seriously busy. I made a challenge with Susan that we had to have 5 page kits packed ready for Ganza by midnight tonight. So I call her about 8 last night and I am journaling and eating popcorn not packing kits AND SHE WAS DOING THE SAME THING!! How crazy is that?

So I got down to the nitty gritty this afternoon and got 6 kits done pretty happy bout that. I have been using a new magazine I bought by Scrapbooks Etc called "Page Planner" and it is WAY COOL!! Loving the new inspiration.

Was devastated to read last night that after April Simple Scrapbooks will be no more. Stacy Julians blog tells the story I just got a pit in my tummy and got sad, I am a simple gal and always will be and it just breaks my scrapbooking, paper piercing, linear layout heart.

Anyways now I need to dedicate my time to getting some studying done, no work Monday for me Carlee is out of school but my sis in law Traci is a teacher and works so she is bringing Dayne and Josie over to hang out. thinking about working the child labor laws and making cookies :)

See that girl with me? She and I have been friends since like middle school. I have been there for the birth of her kids and a marriage and a divorce. she has been there for my marriage birth of carlee divorce and marriage again.

Well when I got off work at 6 this evening i had a text message from her that read "Im getting married" OMG!! I am so excited for her.

She is so independent she is about to finish school to complete her RN degree, she has been a single mom with 3 kids during that process and has still done the kids homework been there for them done and run them to their activities and kept her finances afloat. I have always looked up to her and wondered some days how she does it but she does and thats just that. She doesnt need anyone to support her she just needs someone who gets her and he does and so do I. So to my BFF I Love Ya girl and CONTRATS!!

WOW what a day, got up at 6 at work by 7 worked in Mental Health until noon then started in dental at 12:30 until 6:15 now I am home. For about 30 minutes then off to get Carlee from Awanas.

Tired is so the key word, and my brain is full. Nope no studying tonight either, need to grasp the concept of the Mental Health Meds too much.

Gotta get motivated and get page kits packed for Crop A Ganza, its getting closer, I hope she updates the blog so I know whats up!

So is tuesday. I spent 6 hours working in the mental health department trying to figure out what the job entails. Our mental health secretary had a terrible accident after christmas. she had a seizure and fell down a flight of stairs at her home. unfortunatly if she does survive the coma she will never be the same. she was AMAZING at card and paper crafts its just so sad so any things she could have taught many of us.
So my new title is Mental Health Administrative Assistant 20 hours and Dental Assistant 20 hours until we get someone hired and I get someone trained when I figure out what I am suppose to be training on. I get these what I call "when I get irritated" headaches they use to only come courtesy of hubby but not anymore.....

Waiting on my mom to get here so that I can do her pedicure and she is going to wash out Carlee's ears (I hate that iicck!)

No study time this evening head hurts too bad, wouldnt be able to grasp the concepts after all the Mental Health Axis and Crisis Levels and meds required there isnt much room for much else today.

So Its Monday ya rah.

Worked today, my mom isnt felling too well and left early.

Got home and sat down to dinner and the phone rant. SERIOUSLY no matter what time I eat this happens every night and I am always reheating my dinner never fails.

Carlees best friend has lice and scabies, she hasnt been here since New Years but still concern is there for me a bit ya know. We saw the full scale of lice in kindergarten and it was weeks before we were free of it. Not sure what to do crying seemed optional and having the itchies ALL OF US suddenly do.

Got 10 pages done in an album for Tyler Groom and his mom. He is the 17 year old who recd a heart transplant last year and is doing FABULOUS they documented and saved everything mainly in fear of loosing him but she held and organized everything better than I would have. Me I would have been distraught and cried alot she documented everything its amazing the pics and articles and cards.

Well off to study and itch and study and panic

good morning, I didnt post last night becase Susan and I didnt it my driveway until 1:30 ya all should understand I was just tired and hungry so off to bed I went.

8am the sun came up and so did I, came to the basement to sleep with my pillow and there was hubby, Felts and Romero down there. No sleepy for me might as well start my day and get motivated, I did get pages done last night so I plan to scan and share, shocker been too long since I did that.

I did get good news yesterday the tumor I have is benign but I was suggested that it get removed for safety purposes because it is pushing on nerves and tendons so its just best/

I am a few days off and I do apologize, where did we leave off?

Oh yes, had the lab blood drawn Monday, Tuesday had to do a TB skit test and shot for work so at this point I should be ok with needles right?

WRONG!! Went in for my Brest MRI Wednesday and she started the IV on my left hand and something about my veins rolling so she started on my right and started digging and the last thing I remember was it was hot and the room was getting dark and closing in on me.
That wasnt a good way to start being stuck on your tummy while your boobs(what little there are) hang in open holes for an hour. 45 minutes in the anesthesiologist came in to add the solution and once it was in the veins the shakes started so my fear is that those images wont be right. I just gotta pray.

So I did try going back to work but evidently PALE isnt my color and got sent home. Was sick all night just nautious and shakey and tired very tired.

This morning woke up feeling like a champ and it makes you appreciate waking up and feeling good knowing how you felt when you went to bed at 8:30 pm like 3 hours before your normal bed time.

Tomorrow is the funeral at 10 then I go visit my Dr. at 1:20 for results then on to Wichita for some friend time, no matter the results I am ready for that. just crop, relax and laugh all much needed.

Still studying on the same exam..I KNOW I KNOW i am trying, its over XRays and I dont get it I just dont. I am hands on and probably will have the Dentist do several with me this week so I can get it. Just hope I do after that good golly someday its gotta stick right? All the dang abbreviations are killing me I need a flashcard of em all

Went and had my prelab blood draw for my MRI wednesday so I am one step closer to understanding whats going on in those little size A anthills of mine :)

Looking forward to Friday and some cropping and food and fun with the girls and forgetting all the drama and heartache surrounding us this week.

So I returned the rollers, scary results, decided just to upgrade my curling iron. less bozo the clown. I wouldnt want to scare everyone.

Cleaning and damage controlling today just to get a head start on the week. I have about 10 pairs of scrubs that need ironed, gonna find something good to watch on tv and get around to that.

studied for about 5 hours last night still about 90 pages away from an exam I hope to get that accomplished this evening. Sometimes damage control at this casa takes longer than I estimate and I run into a new pile needing some assistance.

I have one more calendar to get ready and a long to do list before my little girls night of fun.

ok so I didnt post yesterday, this new years thing isnt off to a good start.

I did however prepare to crop soon by page kitting organizing and getting pics printed. I figured it will prepare me for ganza and other little special birthday crops.

had lunch today in AC at Mozitos I end up craving the place, then stopped by my grandmas and tried on some scrubs she is making for me, could barely get them over the hips. Guess over the last 6 months I have gained some weight ooh just a bit but enough that we needed more room. Couldnt pretzel well enuf to pull them ALL the way up.

Now I have rollers in my hair trying something new. We shall see..

Yes I know its been over a month . My goal is to keep better track of this crazy life I have created for myself.

Classes are going great, my goal was to be completed before The Sweet Escape but thanks to Steffs blog post of it only being 38 days away SHUT UP!! NO WAY!! Yes so read here http://www.scrapfunattic.blogspot.com/ its not looking promising for me I still have 7 lessons to go.

Some of you may not know either that Wed Jan 7th I go for a breast MRI seems that even going thru a sonogram and a mammogram they cannot determine why I have gotten these lumps in the last 6-8 months and why they hurt and what they are. kinda odd so I hope for answers soon.

christmas was nice and I hope to post pics it was pretty quiet and calm i got some great jammies and sweater and vest so pretty lax.
