Before I start the organizational post a little birthday wish. 11 years ago today I was in a hospital bed, during a awful sleeting day outside in labor. Full labor, it was a Monday and the doc said his office closed at 5 so we better get a move on. At 4:41pm she gave in and got here, finally. Early but all 6 pounds 11 oz and 20 inches of her made it. I was only 20 years old and had no clue what God had in store for me but I love everything about my life now and would not change a single tiny thing. Preteen years and all she has been worth every second.
This week we are going to work on getting our cleaning kits together for our February challenges. I will post a picture of my cleaning kit tomorrow the only picture I wanted on today was of Carlee cause she deserves that. Per Real Simple Magazine; Martha Stewarts Homekeeping Handbook and a post I made on Two Peas in a Bucket these are the essential thing your cleaning tub should have. You can carry this from one room to another and have everything you need to accomplish that. We will be discussing assigning rooms next week.
22 Essential Cleaning Items:
1. Microfiber Cloths
2. Scrub Brush
3. Spray Bottle
4. Rubber Gloves(Sooo Important, no ickies on these fingers)
5. Toothbrush(for those hard to reach places $1 at Dollar Store)
6. Dry Cleaning Sponge
7. Squeegee(GREAT for shower walls trust me. I fell in love with it)
8. Disinfecting Wipes(I keep a bottle in the bathrooms and the kitchen)
9. Mild Abrasive Cleaner like Bon Ami
10. Vinegar
11. Dishwashing liquid (I prefer Dove, great for the hands too and smell)

13. Baking Soda
14. Caddy (I ended up with a basket, our WalMart didnt have a caddy)
15. Microfiber duster (its so so soft)

19. Sponge Mop
20. Dust Mop
21. Extendable Duster(if needed, if you cant reach your fans etc)
22. Vacuum, If you are like Steff you can name yours hers is Penelope she is a cute pink Dyson
There can also just be a simple universal clean kit that is scaled down compared to the biggy to use for daily tasks that we will cover next Sunday, They are your basic All Purpose Cleaner; Mild Abrasive Cleaner; Glass Cleaner(you can make your own with 1 part Vinegar and 1 part water in a spray bottle; Rubber Gloves; White lint free cloths and a medium bristled scrub brush.
